I stumbled upon Mayu today, which was great timing since they are offering free mini (scalp, foot, or hand) massages for the month of December. I opted for a hand massage w/ Cierra -and it was so relaxing and a great way to end the day. I stayed to drink some tea, browse some of the books, and meditate for about 15 minutes This is a great space and it's such a gift to have a serene setting provided for anyone to drop-in and meditate (for free!). Their class offerings seem interesting, too. Definitely check this place out if you want to relax or enhance your mindfulness practice.

I ordered a few items online.
I received only a partial delivery but got charged for the full amount.
I sent them several emails and left several voice messages. No response.
They also didn't response to a letter by the BBB. I had to dispute my credit card charges to get my money back.

I have been a customer at Headlines for almost 2 years and would highly recommend them. Not only do they provide great haircuts and service but they also seem to contribute to the community. I have seen them do events with Aveda and local schools as well customer appreciation things. The service alone is well worth a visit!

Bhakti Chai is awesome tea!! It's the best chai I've ever had and I love that I can buy it and mix it at home. A lot of coffee shops carry it, too, which is great!

The first time I went in, I loved this place! They have comfy couches, places to sit and do work on your laptop, and tables that are great to sit with a friend and catch up. They also sell some really neat bags, wallets, etc. there. They have completed the Denver Energy Challenge and to me that shows an awesome commitment to sustainability as well.

Best Doggy Day Care in Denver!

I have been taking my dog to U Lucky Dog for about a year now, maybe a little longer, I can't recall. I found out about them via a flyer in my neighborhood and gave them a shot because they were close, convenient and a smaller operation than some of the other doggy day cares in the area. Upon my first visit, which was free and accompanied by a free bath, I was given a tour, explained the daily grind and introduced to the staff. The facilities were impeccable and the staff was attentive to both their people clients and their four legged clients. I began bringing my dog twice a week. Natalie and Abi both know my car when I pull up, I'm greeted professionally and friendly and most importantly, they're happy to see my pup. Now, I happen to have a dog with "issues" and the staff at U Luck Dog has keyed into this. They pay as much attention to my dogs #2s as I do and when something is off, even just a little, I'm notified. It's this attention to detail and customer service that sets U Lucky Dog apart from the rest of the Doggy Day Cares in Denver.
Thank you U Lucky Dog for all you do. Sincerely, W&T
P.S. We've boarded at ULD as well - more expensive than the places out by DIA but worth it. I know T is in good hands and he doesn't come home w/ kennel cooties.

I have shopped around and checked the prices at some big box and franchise type of places. I appreciate the personal service. As well there are no pricing gimmicks (coupons ect.) They will give you a fair price and wonderful customer service. They recently framed a wedding invitation that made a personal and special gift for my grand niece.

Rented 2 atvs to take kids out on. Company gave us helmets and a trailmap, no tools or instruction in case of incident. We followed their van up to trailhead that they use regularly, we did not pick trail ( we are from out of state ). We proceed on trail about 3:00 for a 3 hour ride that we paid $260 for. We get 30 mins into woods and my wife's atv has a flat. No cell service, so I proceed to go back down trail to try and contact company. No luck, no cell service. Ask around at some campsites for a working cellphone or airpump, finally find pump. Go back and try to pump up tire, it will not hold air. I ride atv back down, have spent 1 1/2 hours trying to contact company/fix tire. Get back to trailhead, send wife to contact company. I take kids on different trail. On the way back from short ride this atv has a flat! Employee at parking area says it's not our fault it happens, come back to office and discuss with owner. WELL..... Steve the owner is a real piece of work. While we are waiting to talk with him he is stomping around being real short with his staff. We are called back into shop where he informed us that we were negligent and owed them roughly $325 for 2 new tires. He even went so far as to say that we probably rode the whole time and punctured the tires on purpose to try and scam them for a refund! Look we did not want a refund, just the adventure they advertise in their name, not the nightmare we were sold! Steve could not be reasoned with and even cursed my wife. We ended up just paying $119 to be done with them. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Maybe if everything goes 100% you'll be fine. But like Steve said "99.9% of the time we have no incident", DO YOU WANT TO BE THAT .1% THAT GETS THE SHAFT! We will chaulk this up to "fool me once..." and lack of research into this company. I have found similar complaints about them since then. Like I said we were in the unfortunate .1% like some others. Thanks and God bless all who read this. PS we do forgive them for their actions.
