What a Joke

Tell us about your experience:

I would have given them ZERO stars had that been an option. They don't answer their phones. They don't respond to emails sent via regular email or via their own website. PRRS handles 'parking revenue recovery' for Central Parking. How is a person who wrongly receives a parking ticket in a lot owned by Central Parking supposed to get this taken care of? (Central parking considers the case 'resolved' because they've handed it off to their collections vendor, PRRS...which is so funny because IT IS SO NOT RESOLVED!
I PAID for parking 7 minutes before I was issued a ticket and have both the credit card receipt and supposed 'ticket' - both are date & time stamped.

When you're headed downtown, I advise you park somewhere for free and ride the bus or light rail.

The other crackup? PRRS is a member of the BBB...which, of course, anyone can be a member of by paying them money!

The original Sunflower was pretty rustic but the new Sprouts give U Hills a Whole Foods inspired space to shop for organic foods.

Good Coffee, Mediocre Coffee House

Tell us about your experience:

I definitely had a mixed experience here. Quality and customer service were good, but the environment was not the most enjoyable. In addition, they do not appear to be sustainability oriented besides using food vendors.

Pros: Good quality product. Very friendly, helpful and chatty baristas. Free WiFi.

Cons: Crowded. Had to move three times to find an outlet.Disposable cups (NOT reusable cups) are the default. Only refined sugar or synthetic sugar substitutes available. High ceilings coupled with a hard concrete floor made everything echo-y. Hard metal seats (the kind you'd see in an outdoor patio) comprised the majority of the inside seating. I didn't feel like staying much.

The feel was akin to a Starbucks, but less comfy (besides the warm, friendly baristas). The tiny tables were cute and certainly convenient for a single person, but the three large groups of chatty students seemed uncomfortable when gathered around them. Every coffee shop has its own feel/energy/focus. This one is clearly not for me. It'd probably be good for a grab & go situation, though.

Purely Trash

Reviewed Business:
Tell us about your experience:

This company employs young punk kids that they allow to drive the company vehicles. I was inch from getting plowed into, I was at a dead stop and the truck was traveling at about 60 MPH. He didn’t even hit his brakes as he nicked my side mirror. I proceed on my way to work and as I came to the last light before by turn I noticed that I was going to be stopping right next to the truck that nearly plowed into me. So I got my cell phone out and took down all the information from the side of the vehicle, as I did this the two punks in the truck started throwing their hands up in the air and shouting “What you gonna do? Call! That’s fine; nothing is going to happen to me! So go ahead and call you f***ing bi**h!” Then the light turned green and I proceed to work, once at work I called the company. I had to leave a message and never received a call back! So I ask you, is this the type of company you want to do business with?

Great organic product...made fresh!

I am slowing making the switch from using synthetic products to using all natural organic products...I have found Lily Organics to be a great product. No synthetic chemicals are used and everything is made fresh on the certified organic farm in Brighton. The cleaser and lotion that I use are even great aromatherapy. The mask has also been great for clearing up blemish spots! Overall awesome skin care line!!

The Original Local Coffee House in Northwest Denver

Tell us about your experience:

Common Grounds is an institution in Northwest Denver. Its been at 32nd and Lowell for years--long before the neighborhood was trendy. My favorite part is the feel of Common Grounds - relaxed, comfortable, and friendly. Not only is there great food and drink and free wi-fi, but coming to Common Grounds is like coming to our neighborhood's living room, where connection and community is truly experienced.
