2010 ULTIMATE MUSIC XPERIENCE (UMX) ANNOUNCED

Eclectic Mix of Musical Genres to Highlight Two-day "Battle of the Bands"

The Ultimate Music Xperience (UMX) is a two-day battle-of-the-bands with approximately 80 local, primarily undiscovered solo and group acts vying for a chance to play at one of the largest music venues in the state: the CHUN Capitol Hill People's Fair. In its 39th year, the People's Fair has provided an opportunity for Colorado homegrown bands to make their impression on the local music scene.

The UMX will return to Bender’s 13th Ave. Tavern (314 E. 13th Ave.), and will take place on Saturday and Sunday, March 27 and 28, from 10:00am-6:00pm both days. This FREE event will include prize giveaways, celebrity emcees from 99.5 The Mountain, and a lot of great local music. The public is invited to vote for their favorite acts, and be a part of the selection process for the People's Fair entertainment! Every vote counts in deciding the musical line-up for the 2010 People’s Fair.
